What a wild ride this summer has been for sweet Aries! I wish I could say things will settle down this month, but alas, with so many planets moving in new directions and changing signs, September is going to be a busy month. First of all Jupiter retrogrades back into Pisces on September 8th and you lose some of the drive and momentum this summer handed you. It’s time to slow down and take a breath. Your inner life is calling and you need to answer. Your spiritual life demands attention. Now you are ready to think about other people so volunteer in a place that speaks to your heart. On September 18th Jupiter bumps into Uranus and an unexpected event can be very lucky for the Ram. Some of the surprises from this pairing can affect your work. There is lots happening in professional areas right now, and you need to be on top of your game.  

Your ruling planet, Venus moves into the sign of Scorpio on September 8th and sweet Taurus starts to enjoy life to the fullest. Venus usually brings a sense of optimism and joy wherever it goes and the pleasures of life call out to you. Many Bulls will make a change in their appearance that gives them more confidence. You attract people to you with little effort so reserved Taurus is flirting and indulging in all kinds of fun behaviors. And speaking of indulging…. Gemini is a bit of the social butterfly right now. Both Venus and Mars begin the month in your fifth house of fun and games. You are ready for company. Some of the socializing may have a strong romantic element to it but it can also be just hanging out with your buddies. You’ll get a chance to enjoy yourself if you are not completely tuckered out from all the work on the house you’ve been doing. On September 12th Mercury turns direct and snags or delays disappear as if by magic. There is a New Moon here as well on September 8th and you could get a brainstorm about how to handle some situation dealing with home and family. Leo lucks into some extra money this month thanks to Jupiter moving back into Pisces on September 8th. There is a sense of abundance here that I really like and on September 18th it hooks up with Uranus to bring in even more enery. Some sort of unexpected vibes can have your bills paid or additional income of some sort. Jupiter will stay here until January so the blessings will continue for the next few months. As if that wasn’t enough, Mercury will turn direct on September 12th. Mercury is sitting in your solar second house of personal wealth. As Mercury picks up speed you are more able to take care of financial business. Call the credit card companies and see if you can negotiate a lower interest rate. The Sun will be here as well until the 22nd. The Lions want to treat themselves well and are willing to pull out a wad of cash to do so. Be careful of impulse spending.

There is plenty of good news for Virgo this month. I want all Virgos to mark their calendar for September 8th. That is the date of the New Moon in Virgo. This is the beginning of a new solar year and it could be the beginning of a whole new you. At this time you have an opportunity to make changes you have been struggling with for a long time. Virgo is all about health including diet and exercise. Want to eat better or lose a few pounds? Forget New Years resolutions and get busy now. Sit down and make a decision on what it is you want to bring into your year ahead. Virgo loves work, so you can create job changes that help you out for the next twelve months. With Venus and Mars both sitting in your area of material wealth, it’s time to ask for a raise. The first week is the most powerful so don’t wait.

Most Libras are feeling the effects of Saturn visiting their sign and will tend to feel a bit weighted down. Life seems to be full of responsibility and serious issues. Keep backing up your computer work until September 12th when Mercury turns direct. Until then double check all figures and try to be patient. After the 12th things just seem to smooth out and you are better able to take advantage of the energy of the Sun lighting up yur professional life through the 22nd.Think of the Sun’s rays shining upon you with a soft glow. You are noticed and may be asked to take on some project or it would even be a good time to sit down with your boss and talk abut what direction you wold like to see your career headed. Even though the New Moon of September 8th will push you forward, I’d still wait until after the 12th to talk to the powers that be.

Capricorn, as one of the cardinal signs, is just starting to take a deep breath and relax. It’s been quite a summer. The sign of the Goat is still dealing with career issues. Saturn now sits at the top of your chart and will be there until 2012. It’s time to move your work to a new and higher level. As September begins you have Venus and Mars both sitting there along with Saturn. Push forward with whatever project you are working on. When you combine the energy of Mars with the graciousness of Venus, there is no stopping you. Sweet Pisces starts September out with money on your mind. Your eighth house of other people’s resources plays host to Saturn, Venus and Mars. Since Saturn can sometimes be a bit of a wet blanket, it’s my guess you have been sitting up at night looking at your financial picture. Maybe the money for retirement you were counting on is not going to materialize. But you are able now to put together a new and perhaps even better agenda. Venus will be here until the 8th. Ask for extensions on any payments due. You can negotiate a better interest rate or more positive loan terms. But do it quickly. After Venus leaves on the 8th, you feel cranky and out of sorts about money matters. After September 14th, Mars follow Venus into Scorpio and things calm down. Pluto turns direct on the 13th and adds a sheen of authority, possibly a promotion.
