JULY

Aries begins the month with a New Moon Solar Eclipse in your fourth house of home and family. Apparently the home issues you have been dealing with lately aren’t finished. This has been stressful for Aries. You are so used to being in charge and making things happen. Now it can feel as if events are out of your control and you are not sure of the best course of action. Don’t worry. Venus rides to the rescue on July 3rd. Any tensions between you and other family members quiet down. With Venus here until July 28th you have almost the entire month to work things out about what you are going to do. This can be putting your house on the market or deciding to remodel the basement. Pluto sits at the top of your chart fighting for control. You and a parent figure will have to come to terms. This conflict between work and family continues until the 22nd when the Sun moves into Leo and you start to feel as if things are going your way once again. Mercury stays in Leo and your fifth house of children until July 28th. There may be some positive communication between you two.

Lucky Taurus has Jupiter now moving through your own sweet sign of the Bull. I usually love it when Jupiter comes in and snuggles up to our Sun. There is such a sense of hope and new energy. But Jupiter also brings big dreams with it’s visit. Taurus is feeling more sure of themselves and not willing to wait for someone else to give them the go ahead. They are ready to go ahead right this minute. Jupiter is hooking up with Pluto in your ninth house and you are big into tooting your own horn and letting everyone know your capabilities. Go for it. This is perfect for any public relations and marketing. If you are in sales this should be an especially profitable month. Sales will boom. But let’s face it. Jupiter usually wants to have fun and enjoy life and so you will probably be thinking about getting out of town for a few days to let off some steam. I say go and have a good time. Some family member may rain on your parade a little but nothing too dramatic. You are talking more and that’s a good thing but you have very different ideas about life and your first instinct is going to be to tell them how wrong they are. Wait until after July 28th before pointing out all their faults. Mercury will have moved into Virgo and the two of you are able to reach an understanding that works for everyone.

I’m so glad that Gemini is feeling better this month. Those pesky health issues are hopefully behind you and with Mars coming to visit, your energy is not only back to normal, it’s better than ever. You have a lot to do and Mars gives you the stamina to take care of everything. As Mars comes into contact with Saturn you are able to work on some creative project with lots of staying power. This is not about new ideas that come out of the blue, but rather creative projects that you have put aside or just never been able to make happen. Now you pick them up with a sense of commitment and drive that says you are about to make more progress than anyone thought possible. But be careful of how you are sharing your enthusiasm. Mars can be a bit bold and with it pushing at your Sun, your enthusiasm can be mistaken for arrogance or bossiness. Be sure to give others a chance to contribute, especially your children. Lucky Cancer has Venus coming to call on July 3rd and staying for most of the month. Cancer has not been feeling all that great lately. With Mars shut up in your twelfth house your physical energy is low and quite possibly your joy in life is less than is usual. But Venus reminds you of how much fun life can be. It’s time to treat yourself to a little something extra. And you get to decide what that extra is. Buy yourself some new clothes or maybe just get your hair done. A long weekend out of town may be just the thing you have been waiting for. The New Moon Solar Eclipse of July 1st will bring new insight into how you see yourself. This can be extremely powerful and spending some time in self reflection would be a good idea. Talk to a counselor or good friend about how stuck you have been feeling. Saturn is still beating you up and you are feeling full of responsibility and obligations, which does not leave you feeling uplifted. Home matters demand you pay attention, yet there doesn’t seem to be a lot you can do to fix the situation. Fortunately Saturn is in direct motion and moving forward at a rapid pace. Things should start to look up shortly.

Leo begins July with a New Moon Solar Eclipse in your twelfth house of mystery and mysticism. This placement almost always brings up lots of emotion. The sign of the Lion may not be feeling like roaring much, as you find yourself dealing with feeling of self-pity and depression. This Eclipse is in a conflict with both Saturn and Pluto ensuring that whatever you are dealing with – it is getting your attention big time. You and a sibling have a disagreement over something and as if that’s not enough, work problems surface as well. You and your boss are not on the same page right now and co-workers just keep causing you problems. Some of these problems come to a head around the Full Moon of July 15th. The good news is that they come forward to be healed and you are able to have the second half of July proceed much more smoothly than the first half. Put off major decisions if at all possible until after the 15th. And after the 22nd the Sun comes out from watery Cancer and you have your energy back and then some! The second New Moon on July 30th will help you move ahead in terms of career. Yay!

Sweet Virgo is burning the midnight oil working hard at the office. Mars is sitting at the top of your chart bringing in plenty of energy to get the job done. That’s a LOT of energy in one small space. I would make sure you have as few commitments as possible the first couple of weeks of July in order to focus on your work. There can be changes to where you work, how you work or who you work with. Most of these changes will help you out in the long term, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be stressful in the short term. This is an area of authority in your chart and anyone with authority over you is going to be highlighted. Sometimes instead of a boss this can be a parent. Your mother or father may need you more now and you want to be able to be there for them. On a more mundane level, you may find yourself getting ready to go on vacation. The wide open spaces beckon and you are more than ready to get out of town. With Venus sliding in on July 3rd you could meet someone special on an out of town trip or you and your special someone create a romantic getaway. Friends suggest new horizons as Venus and Neptune touch base. Practical Scorpio finds themselves on a trip that has to do with some sort of metaphysical class or workshop. It’s a very creative time so make the most of it. And if a friend wants to fix you up with someone they know, by all means say Yes. If you are interviewing for a new position this will have everyone liking you so it’s a good time to put yourself forward and speak up about what you are capable of contributing to the company. As there are stressful aspects to both Saturn and Pluto there can be some talk about moving or traveling or maybe both. Changes are all around you. But that laser sharp Aquarius mind is working full time and you are able to reason out a good plan for how to deal with all this new energy. Children seem to be a source of frustration right now but it gets better next month so hang in there.

Pisces has been focusing on home and family lately and although there is still lots of energy in this area, it is getting ready to change and bring in other people.
